World Day of Prayer is a worldwide movement of Christian women with many traditions who come together each year to observe a common day of prayer. On March 4th, 2017, The Ecumenical Women’s Forum will join our neighbors in celebrating World Day of Prayer in solidarity with the women of the Philippines at St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church, 1009 Unruh Avenue, Philadelphia, PA from 9am to 1:30pm. The Keynote Speaker for the event is Sr. Jocelyn Edathil SIC, MD, PhD. Sr. Jocelyn is a practicing physician and professor at Temple University Hospital. She is also the first American born religious sister of Indian origin in America. She has been active in the ecumenical community since childhood.
